Who we are and what we do!
The Phoenix Ski Club has its roots in skiing with ski trips offered throughout the world since our inception in 1948. However, the friendships formed on the ski mountain draw people into other social activities. So, we are a year-round activity club, offering travel trips, hikes, biking, Happy Hours, parties and more. Come check us out on the mountain or just around town!
Our newest initiative is offering family events to engage kids in winter activities. Our hope is to engage more parents to get their kids involved in skiing. By offering group events and "helping" families to get started with skiing, we aim to act as ambassadors for our sport. See our PSC Family Events Link under "About Us".
About Phoenix Ski & Social Club
The Phoenix Ski Club is much more than just skiing. We're a year-round, non-profit, volunteer-run social and outdoor activities organization with a variety of events designed to appeal to just about everybody. The Club has grown a lot since its beginning in 1948, when it consisted of a few hardy souls carpooling the 8 to 10 hour drive to the rope tow at Flagstaff. In fact, the history of the Club is really a history of skiing in Arizona.
Now, with over 200 members, the Club runs ski trips each winter all over the Western US and Canada. We even go to Europe or other exotic destinations in conjunction with the Far West Ski Association. In addition to skiing, you'll find us traveling to far away places and socializing in town. Check out our activities and trips or come to our monthly social gathering to meet us in person!
